What we do for homeowners
Working in someone’s home is different from working in a commercial building. The crew is walking past your kids, your pets, and your furniture all day, and the dust we make is dust you have to live with. We take that seriously. Drop cloths go down, shoes come off when they need to, and the site gets cleaned up before we leave for the day, not just at the end of the project.
Most of our residential work falls into a few categories:
- New custom home wiring, from rough-in through trim and final
- Whole-house rewires for older homes, including knob-and-tube replacement
- Service upgrades, 100 amp, 200 amp, and 400 amp
- Kitchen and bathroom renovation wiring, coordinated with your GC’s schedule
- Recessed lighting, ceiling fans, and interior lighting upgrades
- Landscape and exterior lighting, including low-voltage and architectural uplighting
- 220-volt receptacles for ranges, dryers, hot tubs, and shop equipment
- EV charger installations, including service-load evaluation
- TV mounting with cables run inside the wall
- Smoke and carbon monoxide detector installation
- Smart switches, dimmers, and home automation wiring
- Security camera installations, including Ring, Arlo, and Nest
- Surge protection at the panel
- Troubleshooting and code-correction work on older systems
If your project isn’t on that list, call anyway. Chris has wired enough custom homes and renovations over the past 25 years that very little is unfamiliar, and the unusual jobs are often the most interesting.
